Introduction

Dear all,

I thought I sent an introductory email to the group two weeks ago but it
seems it wasn't sent so here it is:

I am Antoine Zimmermann (AZ on IRC and in my email signatures), an
associate professor at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, near Lyon in
France. My interests are in the Semantic Web, Linked data, knowledge
representation in general and more specifically representation,
reasoning and querying for multi-contextual information (especially,
spatial and temporal contexts). I participate in projects related to
smart cities, smart grids and transportation systems.

I will provide at least one use case related to the transportation
domain and maybe more, depending on time constraints.

In terms of W3C experience, I participated in the later phase (last
year) of the OWL 2 Working Group, then in the RDF 1.1 Working group. I
also follow (but am not very active in) several community group
activities, among which the RDF Stream Processing CG and the WebID CG.

I eat a lot of W3C specifications at breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Best,
--
