http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13499 Summary: Introduce "assume-null-if-not-object" flag Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: WebIDL AssignedTo: cam@mcc.id.au ReportedBy: annevk@opera.com QAContact: member-webapi-cvs@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-script-coord@w3.org Event handler IDL attributes either take a Function object or null. However, the behavior in user agents is such that whenever you assign a non-Function null is assumed (e.g. "test", 2, []). Maybe this can be combined with [AllowAny] somehow? Not sure if that is worth it though. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
