Hiatus

As just mentioned in
http://www.w3.org/mid/20091009033646.GC24133@wok.mcc.id.au and to a few
people offline, I plan to take a break from web standards work after
next week in order to concentrate on finishing my studies (which is long
overdue!). This break will probably last a few months. I do apologise
that this comes at a time when a flurry of work is happening on Web IDL
and hope that this does not leave the group in the lurch too much.

In order to cut distractions, I won’t be following the mailing lists or
be on IRC after next week. However, if you do have questions on the
spec (building it or understanding what I wrote) then feel free to send
me private mail and I will do my best to help.

So it would be great if we could find someone to come on as an editor of
the spec! I’m optimistic that discussions with the TC39 folks will
result in a spec we’re all happy with.

I look forward to returning to help with Web IDL in a few months, if all
of the issues haven’t been solved by then. :-)

Thanks,

Cameron
