Generating semantic search results relies heavily on the use of schema.org markup, a universal code that helps decipher the meaning of HTML code to identify logos, reviews, opening times, products, and more. Currently, https://schema.org/ markup adoption is relatively low: Search Engine Monitor recently reported that only 17% of marketers use schema.org markup. The estimated number of websites implementing this is less than a third. Small companies are said to be more willing to adopt and use schema markup due to their agility and natural drive to gain greater visibility, while midsize B2B companies are less willing. How will not using schema markup affect sites in the future and what is the roadmap? Yours truly ------- Emrah Mutlu CEO @ https://login.page/ emrahmutlu91.@gmail.com
