Uhmm, what happened to author on CreativeWork ?

Did I miss something ?

And what are we really trying to tell developers with the description 'This
is the same as the Author property for CreativeWork." ?  That is can be
considered the same ? treated as the same ?
creator <https://schema.org/creator> Organization
<https://schema.org/Organization>  or
Person <https://schema.org/Person>  The creator/author of this
CreativeWork. This is the same as the Author property for CreativeWork.
