Re: Third sector services extension?

A convo[1] has also been going on about RWW / SoLiD [2] which has
interactions with other broader issues faced by CG/IG/WG processes,
involved with Linked-Data related science / standards development.

The fact we don't have ontology support for finding a toilet really
highlights an array of issues (ie: circa 18th feb [3]) that are both of
interest to those involved [4] (ie: GLAM), and are within the domain of
what 'local government' could be supported in delivering, in a manner that
supports mobile devices and related search capabilities; but we've
obviously not been able to bring the threads together yet...

Webizen was a w3 project [5] that changed it's name, and whilst i've got
the slack-group URL webizen.slack.com and the LinkedData team have
webizen.org [6] - as the name for a CG is available - i'm thinking about
how to format a charter [8] and in-turn see if we can get the buy-in we
need and/or whether i'm making things too complicated...

The other 'crazy' idea i've got is about producing a TV series about A.I.
and whether an opportunity exists to interweave some of these community
works as a means to tell stories that can talk in terms of fiction, issues
that people may otherwise have difficulty discussing with the general
public or finding means in which others, understand to some-degree what so
few geeks are talking about, and why they care... but that's not
necessarily associated to a CG. although, i do think it's a very
interesting idea to consider it. such a rich environment that can be
transformed as to communicate the opportunity for humanity to participate
in forging, a wired world, (web) we want...
