Events without a physical location

Hi

I'm using Schema.org vocabulary to mark up online events for a gaming 
community - the validator is telling me that 'location' is required, and 
that it can only be a 'Place' or 'PostalAddress' - neither of which 
apply here. Can I supply just a URL for the location? If so, how would 
that be done within the content of 'Place', as that requires an address?
