The GCD has long talked of having a creator table and a role relation. Although I like contributor better as a generic term (the GCD's "creator" table includes people one wouldn't normally think of as having a creative role, i.e. "Managing Editor" or other business positions. I'll take a look at the linked reading, thanks! I'm definitely still interested in where this goes and helping where I can. thanks, -henry >________________________________ > From: Dan Scott <denials@gmail.com> >To: Henry Andrews <hha1@cornell.edu> >Cc: "Wallis,Richard" <Richard.Wallis@oclc.org>; Niklas Lindström <lindstream@gmail.com>; Thad Guidry <thadguidry@gmail.com>; "public-schemabibex@w3.org" <public-schemabibex@w3.org> >Sent: Friday, February 21, 2014 8:55 PM >Subject: Comic Book - further work - Was: Re: Relationships to Art - Was: Schemabibex Group entering a different phase > > > >Hi Henry: > > >On Fri, Feb 21, 2014 at 11:04 PM, Henry Andrews <hha1@cornell.edu> wrote: > >With apologies as this has probably been answered somewhere, but what does this all mean for further work on the Comic Book schema? This will be a much more flexible approach for handling contributor roles across schema.org if it is accepted, and could heavily impact the Comic Book extension... hopefully that will play out over the next week or two. > > >I'll try to pull together some concrete examples that will demonstrate what the possible markup scenarios will look like; right now it's a little past bedtime and I need my beauty sleep :) > > >Dan > >
