My prediction:

This will amount to an Entity Relationship Graph that expresses social
relationships.

De-silo-fication will happen via hyperlinks that resolve to JSON
documents comprising content representing said graph.

Twitter will use it marketing might to promote etc..

Apps will emerge that build around this graph, pretty fast.


Suggestion:

Those interested is identity and social media matters should get
involved with this effort, pronto :)
