ok i type 'dan' press enter and window briefly flickers back to blank searchbox http://i.imgur.com/t2y4ZPm.png

right click 'inspect element' in plugin-context brings up inspector (DOM looks ok), but now plugin webpane is unselectable/unfocusable - can't try another request while network-tab is selected in debugger, so

$ ngrep -d wlp3s0 port 80 (why did systemd pick some impossible to remember interface name)

each attempt resutls in :
   GET /webizen/css/style.css HTTP/1.1..Host: linkeddata.github.io.

but nothing like a POST or ?query

chrome-extension:// URI ugliness aside, the Tabulator extension for Chrome nicely has its activity visible in the normal F12 page-context inspector unlike this one

i am guessing this extension has some vision behind it beyond just being a person-search. x509 generation or cert management or invisible client-side FOAF-snarfing out of RDFa or existing request-flow, so'll leave it installed (hopefully it phones-home additional found FOAF profile after giving it permission)
