Both chrome and mozilla app stores do look good, a lot of potential there.

I do like 5apps also, well presented app gallery etc.  There's now
app.nettoo ... (there's more out there too)

Michiel: do you know the best contact person at 5apps?  I'd like to cc them
on what we're thinking about, in case they have interest ...

Payswarm on the telecon yesterday said it may be quite easy to get a proof
of concept going with their code already

I think there's enough interest to flesh out the idea a bit more, and
decide what could be in scope for a basic prototype ... ideally we'd want
to collaborate with interested parties and create a big federated app
ecosystem ...

A combined shareable ratings and payments system (or at least blueprints
thereof) could also be the path to encouraging people to build great apps,
and deploy them to the Web ...
