AFAIU, Linked Data Basic Profile 1.0 (LDBP) draws in part from OSLC
standardisation efforts, so bits have been discussed in OSLC [0], but
some parts also represent novelties elaborated by its IBM authors.

There's a proposal for a new Linked Data Platform (LDP) Working Group
beeing chartered [2], for which LDBP is an initial contribution :

"The starting point for this group is the W3C Submission Linked Data Basic Profile 1.0."

so I guess we'd have to wait until LDP is launched to be able to discuss
LDBP in details...

At least this is my understanding of the process, so far.

Maybe you can still send your comments to <public-ldp@w3.org> anyway
(see also https://twitter.com/#!/sspeiche/status/192303203646308352 for
that specific matter) ?
