I took my list, added Sandro’s IoT backends, and another type I just thought of, which I tentatively call “computation service providers”, and put it on the wiki: https://www.w3.org/wiki/RTOS/Example_Service_Providers Some of those may all turn out to be the same for our purposes here, but at this stage it may be better to have too many categories than too few.
