I note that this plan doesn’t include development of the draft Tips for Accessibility Aware Research (TAAR) document [1], which I was involved in starting under RDWG, while it was still active. I’m wondering about the implications of this.

For example:
Does this mean that further work on the TAAR document is no longer anticipated from RQTF?
Or that its development will be pushed back to a future Work Plan?
Or can it be worked on in parallel to the current Work Plan, which seems to focus on defining priority research questions to address?

On a separate point, I’m curious about the apparent lack of representation from academic research in the current active participant list in APA, and by extension RQTF. I know there have been efforts to invite past RDWG members to participate in RQTF, many of whom were based in academia. But I wonder if there are any further plans to reach out to academic researchers active in accessibility, who may be able to lead or contribute to specific TF activities?

Thanks
Dave
