Jim Melton says XQuery is very uncomfortable with RIF Lists being indexed from zero [1]. In our telecon, we were pretty unsure about it ourselves. I suggest we mark this At Risk, and see what feedback we get. Please reply and indicate support or objections... Also, I see our AtRisk numbering is broken: http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/Special:Search?search=atrisk&fulltext=Search I see four different items there, and this indexing-from-zero will be a fifth if we do it. Okay for me to renumber them (making Safeness be #4 instead of a second #2) and make them link to a wiki page listing all of them? (that's what we did with OWL 2. See, for example, http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/CR-owl2-syntax-20090611/ ) I look for the chairs to tell me whether we have enough consensus on this to publish later today (10/01), or need to wait until next week (10/06). -- Sandro [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rif-comments/2009Sep/0011
