I support the creation of this working group, for many reasons including: * The specifications created in the predecessor of this proposed working group have been widely adopted (~100 implementations afaik) but need to be updated based on learnings from adopters to continue to be relevant * Upgrading the web to an ubiquitously and interoperable social web would create many benefits for users and website operators; the opportunity to do so now is probably higher than it was at any time in the past 20 years * The updated specifications would aid the various legal social interoperability and portability requirements that are being worked on in the legislative processes in various jurisdictions world-wide Best, Johannes Ernst FediForum <https://fediforum.org/> Dazzle Labs <https://dazzlelabs.net/>
