Abstract


Micropub is an open API standard used to create posts on one's own domain using third-party clients. Web apps and native apps (e.g., iPhone, Android) can use Micropub to post short notes, photos, events or other posts to your own site. Author's Note This section is non-normative. This document was published by the Social Web Working Group as a Candidate Recommendation. This document is intended to become a W3C Recommendation. W3C publishes a Candidate Recommendation to indicate that the document is believed to be stable and to encourage implementation by the developer community. This Candidate Recommendation is expected to advance to Proposed Recommendation no earlier than 13 September 2016. All comments are welcome.
