Does anyone know the current status of CSS image-set()? In particular: - Has the spec stabilized? Or are there still changes to the syntax?[1][2] - Anyone know what browser support looks like? Caniuse doesn't track it.[3] - Assuming it isn't in browsers, any public signals? Roadmaps? I can't find it in any of the status trackers[4] Anyone know what's going on with image-set()? Thanks, Jason [1] Spec: http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-images-3/#image-set-notation [2] Peter Linss gently chided me for advocating for its use too early back in 2012. http://blog.cloudfour.com/safari-6-and-chrome-21-add-image-set-to-support-retina-images/comment-page-1/#comment-13580 [3] Vote for it to get added to caniuse.com http://www.google.com/moderator/#9/e=ae425&g=image-set [4] https://www.chromestatus.com/features#image-set https://status.modern.ie/?term=image-set https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=image-set Can't load Opera's bug tracker right now for some reason. -- +1 (503) 290-1090 o | +1 (503) 502-7211 m | http://cloudfour.com
