We're about to launch i r s - (i)nterlinking of (r)esources with (s)emantics, a generic User-Contributed-Interlinking (UCI) editor and would very much appreciate feedback from you: http://143.224.254.32/irs/ i r s stems from riese (see [1], UCI). The idea is to enable end-users to set semantic links between resources in a generic way. Currently, i r s is a demonstrator; proven features are likely to be integrated in riese. The current implementation of i r s is based on ARC [2] and offers the following features: + query, add, and remove semantic links + simple provenance tracking (*who* says *what*) + content preview (using the '...' link ;) + a look-up of unknown resources based on sindice [3] + a SPARQL-endpoint (http://143.224.254.32/irs/sparql) + export of query results in XHTML+RDFa Please note that i r s as such is generic, hence may serve different purposes. One exemplary usage is using i r s as a simple LOD debugger (or as I like to call it: LODWalker - may the force be with you :) - you may wanna try it yourself using a sequence of [ask] and [try this!] - it's fun, promise ... Cheers, Michael PS: Seems Danny [4] was faster - again ;) [1] http://riese.joanneum.at/about.html#Under_the_hood [2] http://arc.semsol.org/ [3] http://sindice.com/dev?section=api [4] http://blogs.talis.com/nodalities/2008/03/this_weeks_semantic_web_34.php ---------------------------------------------------------- Michael Hausenblas, MSc.
