Introduction

Hi,

I'd like to introduce myself a bit, here. My first contact with RDFa was in 2006, when I was kind of asking myself how to actually embed RDF in HTML in a practical way. I just joined the MMSEM XG back then and that was where I did my first steps with RDFa [1]. Then, after a bit playing around I thought: Might be nice to just take the spec and try to implement an RDFa extractor [2]; it turned out to be the case that the RDFa TF had indeed some need for assistance regarding the test cases, and that is where I mainly contributed so far.

I'm very interested in actually *using* this stuff; for a rather incomplete overview of RDFa applications you may wanna take a look at [3]. I'll be actively contributing to this list and trying to have an eye on the Wiki as well ;)

In case you'd like to have a quick chat on RDFa stuff, you may also want to chime in on IRC/#swig channel [4].

So, may the semantics be with you and a long an productive time with metadata in RDFa!

Cheers,
       Michael
