Hi all, I've prepped a version of the HTML+RDFa 1.1 spec for FPWD publication as we discussed during the last telecon. All but one of the changes are editorial and are to the metadata associated with the document (the group publishing the document, the location of the source files, FPWD status, etc.). The editor's draft of the document can be found here: http://www.w3.org/2010/02/rdfa/sources/rdfa-in-html/ The only non-editorial change I made was to remove the section on DTD-based validation. The HTML WG, HTML WG W3C Staff, and the WHAT WG have been asking us to remove that section for a long time now. Keeping it in there would go against the direction that the HTML WG and browser manufacturers are headed in (and started heading in a long time ago) regarding not supporting DTD-based validation. I could put the section back in for FPWD, but we would just end up in formal objection territory and end up removing it in the end anyway. If any of the current RDFa WG members feel strongly about keeping that section in there, please speak up now before we do the FPWD. Also, keep in mind that we can address the validation issue /after/ the FPWD is out there, so the issue doesn't have to be closed in any way, shape or form. I'll freeze the document a week before the publication date (September 6th 2012). Let me know if there need to be any changes before that time. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Which is better - RDFa Lite or Microdata? http://manu.sporny.org/2012/mythical-differences/
