There's been a Microdata-to-RDF conversion algorithm defined as part of the Microdata spec ever since Microdata existed (around May 2009 IIRC)! http://www.w3.org/TR/microdata/#rdf There are several implementations. Philip Taylor on the HTML WG did one in Javascript I think, though it hasn't been kept up to date for changes in the spec.
