I have made some changes to reflect the use of the term IRI. This is still a work in progress, but you can see it at http://www.w3.org/2010/02/rdfa/sources/rdfa-core/Overview-src.html Note that this is the live source, so it might change under you from time to time. It is dated 27 May currently. As I make changes over the weekend that date will change. In particular, please review the note I added in how to read this document. I am interested in what people think about the tone of it: > RDFa is a way of expressing /RDF/-style relationships using simple > attributes in existing markup languages such as HTML. RDF is fully > internationalized, and permits the use of Internationalized Resource > Identifiers, or IRIs. You will see the term 'IRI' used throughout this > specification. Even if you are not familiar with the term IRI, you > probably have seen the term 'URI' or 'URL'. IRIs are an extension of > URIs that permit the use of characters outside of plain ASCII. RDF > allows the use of these characters, and so does RDFa. This > specification has been careful to use the correct term, IRI, to make > it clear that this is the case. -- Shane McCarron Managing Director, Applied Testing and Technology, Inc. +1 763 786 8160 x120
