I had the pleasure of being on the Dublin Core Architecture telecon this morning. Mostly to discuss changes to @profile and the HTML WG, but also to discuss some future direction alternatives that the community is interested in taking. One of the items that came up were RDFa Profiles, DC Application Profiles and Mark Birbeck's Argots. We all seem to be interested in vocabulary mixing and I mentioned that it would be good for the two communities to collaborate on that in the coming months. I also mentioned that we would like DCMI to be more involved in the RDFa WG in the form of directional guidance, RDFa feature reviews, and general advice. There seemed to be enthusiasm from both sides, so that is good news! A first step may be to have the Dublin Core community review the new RDFa Profile features that will be in the RDFa FPWD specification. It may affect how they proceed with DC Application Profiles. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny) President/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: PaySwarming Goes Open Source http://blog.digitalbazaar.com/2010/02/01/bitmunk-payswarming/
