Just for my understanding: do you mean a separate datatype per language tag? If not, then we would have some sort of a parametrized datatype, which does not really fit the current datatype model. If yes, we would then have an open ended (and possibly fairly large) set of datatypes, because that landscape is constantly changing. I would shy away from the former, maybe the latter is doable. What is exactly the value space for that datatype?
