Taxonic is currently using SHACL in a couple of projects at clients. One is at Kadaster [1] where we're working on a linked data version of primary registries. [2] [3] Note this is still in beta and a couple of iterations behind the current SHACL syntax. We are planning to update to the current syntax soon. In this project we're using open source software [4] that uses the SHACL shapes to generate some standard UI components and a graphical representation of parts of the model [5]. We're also working on integrating SHACL into our ETL pipeline. At another client we're doing some initial tests with SHACL, and are planning to use it to share validation rules on client-app and server. This client has developed a custom query language, and we're discussing the possibility of a SHACL implementation using this query language. We see a growing need for SHACL at our clients, and are noticing a growing interest in SHACL in the Dutch Linked Data community. Therefore, we're keen to see SHACL move forward.
