Dear RDF Notes Maintenance Community Group, Thank you for your interest in revising the following Notes originally published by the W3C Semantic Web Interest Group: (From https://www.w3.org/groups/ig/semweb/publications/) - Microdata to RDF – Second Edition - vCard Ontology - for describing People and Organizations - HTML Data Guide - Describing Linked Datasets with the VoID Vocabulary - RDF Calendar - an application of the Resource Description Framework to iCalendar Data Because no Interest Group is currently maintaining those documents, and because they were originally published under the W3C Document License [1], the W3C staff must grant a license in order for you to create derivative work. W3C hereby grants to all contributors in the RDF Notes Maintenance Community Group a copyright to create Community Group Reports (including as Final Reports) based on the documents named above. This license does not need any further notification or registration. This grant is not a commitment to a future publication of revised technical reports; see below for more information. **Incoming copyright**: Contributions to those derivative works are made under the W3C Community Contributor License Agreement (CLA). **Outgoing copyright**: The Community Group must only publish their Community Group Reports under the W3C Document License [1]. Please note that this is a different copyright than ordinary Community Group Specifications. **Team updates to the original document**: Because there is no Interest Group to replace the documents named above with the CG's updated Notes, it falls to the Team to do so, as authorized in sections 6.2.5 and 6.4.2 of the W3C Process [2]. However, the W3C Process places limits on what the Team can republish as Notes, permitting only certain classes of changes and corrections. Please refer to those sections of the W3C Process Document for details. If the Team decides to update the previously published documents based on updates created by this Community Group, it will choose at that time the license to use for their distribution. Thank you, Philippe Le Hegaret, VP, Technical Strategy [1] https://www.w3.org/copyright/document-license/ [2] https://www.w3.org/policies/process/
