The new draft charter [1] just went out for AC review [2]. If there
are no problems, it should take effect in about 5-6 weeks. At that
point, we'll start a "grace period" during which everyone in the group
will have to be re-nominated by their AC reps, confirming their
organization's agreement to the new charter. Then this little bump
will be behind us.
