Sorry, that's wrong and I meant to reword that before hitting send. Optional commas have been in grammars that Andy wrote for the BRQL strawman language such as the one in http://www.w3.org/2004/07/08-BRQL/ One aspect of a strawman is to use them for discussions and then take stuff out.
