Following the principle that the default behavior should be chosen from the set of available options, it seems there should be a way to explicitly request that a value be represented as a plain literal. This same property could be used to request that non-string SQL values be represented as plain literals in the RDF output. This is an argument for theoretical purity. The proposal has no significant benefit to users or mapping authors, and adds cost for implementers and for the WG. That makes me not enthusiastic. (I guess the proposal would be to add a new rr:termType rr:PlainLiteral?) Richard
