I supposed it before, now I know for sure :) My favorite is sprintf(), because it's easy to prove many useful properties of format strings. However, there should be much more. We're using Virtuoso/PL in order to write stored procedures, but it has nothing common with compatibility, so the W3C spec should mention some other toolkit.
