Self introduction - Jose Labra

My name is Jose Emilio Labra Gayo, I am a Full Professor at the University
of Oviedo, Spain [1]. I am the founder of the WESO (Web Semantics Oviedo)
Lab, a research group which applies semantic web technologies since 2004
[2].

I am passionate about logic and functional languages, my master thesis was
a Prolog interpreter implemented in C++ and my PhD was about defining
programming language interpreters using Haskell.

I later switched to Scala and implemented several libraries to support ShEx
and SHACL [3] as well as the RDFShape playground [4]. I am also one of the
coauthors of the Validating RDF Data book [4] and the Knowledge Graphs book
[5].

I switched to Rust last year and started the Shapes-rs library [7], so right
now, I consider myself a Rust apprentice. Anyway, I really enjoy the
language and I think it would be great to have a common set of traits for
RDF and related technologies that could help adoption of the language and
semantic technologies at the same time.
