Hi everyone, I am an associate professor in computer science at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (Lyon, France), currently in secondment at INRIA (the French Research Institute for CS) in the Wimmics team [1]. I am also W3C fellow from Inria. At W3C, I'm part of the project team and the strategy team, focusin on the Data Ecosystem [2]. I have been working with RDF, Semantic Web and Linked Data for as long as I can remember... :) I started programming in Rust around 2018, and started the Sophia library [3] as a project to help me learn the language. Very quickly, the ambition of Sophia was to provide generic traits that others could implement, so that the functions implemented in Sophia could benefit other implementations, and the other way around. But over time, it became clear that a collaborative project (as opposed to a personal one) would have a much higher potential of getting community adoption and realize this goal of a "RUST Lingua Franca" for RDF implementations. That was the motivation for proposing to create this CG, and I'm really excited to start this work. pa [1] https://team.inria.fr/wimmics/ [2] https://www.w3.org/ecosystems/data/ [3] https://crates.io/crates/sophia
