https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=29925 Bug ID: 29925 Summary: use-character-maps and the adaptive method Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Serialization 3.1 Assignee: cmsmcq@blackmesatech.com Reporter: josh.spiegel@oracle.com QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Target Milestone: --- In section 10.1.11 it says: "The use-character-maps parameter is not directly applicable to the Adaptive output method." But earlier it says "Character maps are applied (a) when nodes are serialized using the XML output method, and (b) to any value represented as a string enclosed in quotation marks." Which is correct? I also noticed there are no tests in XQTS that combine the adaptive method and use-character-maps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
