https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=29212 Bug ID: 29212 Summary: [XP31] (editorial) slight ambiguity in error description of "//" and root nodes Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Hardware: PC OS: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XPath 3.1 Assignee: jonathan.robie@gmail.com Reporter: abel.braaksma@xs4all.nl QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Target Milestone: --- In section 3.3 we write: > At evaluation time, if the root node above the context node is not a > document node, a dynamic error is raised [err:XPDY0050]. I think we mean to say "if the root node *of* the context node". Since the context node itself can be a document node (or any other root node), the root node is not *above* in that case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
