https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=28711 Bug ID: 28711 Summary: Implementations can ignore unrecognized annotations? Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Hardware: PC OS: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XQuery 3.1 Assignee: jonathan.robie@gmail.com Reporter: pwalmsley@datypic.com QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org I assume, but I can't find where it is explicitly stated, that implementations can ignore annotations that are in namespaces that it doesn't recognize. I expected to find text like there is for pragmas or options, something like: "If the namespace URI of an annotation's expanded QName is not recognized by the implementation, then the annotation is ignored." But I don't see that anywhere... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
