Bug ID: 28283
Summary: 2.1.1 static content collation
Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
Version: Candidate Recommendation
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: XPath 3.1
Assignee: jonathan.robie@gmail.com
Reporter: patrick@durusau.net
QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org
2.1.1 Static Content
"A collation is a specification of the manner in which strings and URIs are
compared and, by extension, ordered. For a more complete definition of
collation, see [XQuery and XPath Functions and Operators 3.1].]"
Why use an incomplete definition of collation when:
Collation is defined by [XQuery and XPath Functions and Operators 3.1, 5.3
Comparison of Strings] http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions-31/#string-compare.
Provides the correct information and a shorter text.
