Bug ID: 28276
Summary: 2 Basics "atomic type?"
Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
Version: Candidate Recommendation
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: XPath 3.1
Assignee: jonathan.robie@gmail.com
Reporter: patrick@durusau.net
QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org
2 Basics
3rd paragraph:
"[Definition: An atomic value is a value in the value space of an atomic type,
as defined in [XML Schema 1.0] or [XML Schema 1.1].]"
XML Schema 1.0 - "Atomic type" appears once in part 1, 3.14.1, which is marked
as non-normative.
XML Schema 1.1 "Atomic type appears once in part 1, 3.16.1, which is a
normative section.
The lack of structure prevents more exact referencing.
Atomic type does not appear at all in part 2 of either XML Schema 1.0 or 1.1
(If you are thinking of anyAtomicType, close but no prize)
