https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=28172 Bug ID: 28172 Summary: [F+O 3.1] Spec of json-to-xml() says nothing about the choice of namespace prefixes Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Functions and Operators 3.1 Assignee: mike@saxonica.com Reporter: mike@saxonica.com QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org The specification of json-to-xml() says that it returns elements in the namespace http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions/json but says nothing about the namespace prefix to be used on these elements. By analogy with fn:analyze-string, the prefix should be implementation-dependent. I think this is the implication of the current spec if we say nothing, but it's better to be explicit. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
