In response to a request from the XSL WG, I have made a proposal to add
non-normative text to the XSLT and F+O specifications encouraging implementors
to adopt the use of ICU/CLDR numbering scheme names within xsl:number (XSLT)
and format-integer (F+O), in fields whose semantics are largely
