https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=21968 Bug ID: 21968 Summary: Empty elements with HTML 4.0 serialization Classification: Unclassified Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Serialization 3.0 Assignee: zongaro@ca.ibm.com Reporter: oneil@saxonica.com QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org In spec at section 7.1 it states: "For HTML 4.0, the element types that have an empty content model are area, base, basefont, br, col, embed, frame, hr, img, input, isindex, link, meta and param." What namespace does this apply to? Test case Serialization-html-3 assumes that this includes the XHTML namespace, but the spec does not make this clear. This was not the case in XSLT 2.0/XQuery 1.0. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
