https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=21936 Bug ID: 21936 Summary: [XSLT 3.0] Is xsl:accumulator/@initial-value optional? Classification: Unclassified Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XSLT 3.0 Assignee: mike@saxonica.com Reporter: mike@saxonica.com QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org In the syntax summary we show xsl:accumulator/@initial-value as optional, but the prose doesn't say what happens if it is omitted. We could say that the default is an empty sequence - provided that is consistent with the @as attribute - or we could say that it is mandatory. I think my preference is for making it mandatory. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
