https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=21413 Bug ID: 21413 Summary: Request to add error code for "implementation-defined limit exceeded" Classification: Unclassified Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Working drafts Hardware: PC OS: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XPath 3.0 Assignee: jonathan.robie@gmail.com Reporter: oneil@saxonica.com QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org The WG decided in the teleconference on the 2013-03-26 that we should add a error code for "implementation-defined limit exceeded". This relates to the test suite bug #19579 The error code should be added in the section 2.3.1 of the specification where it states: In addition to the errors defined in this specification, an implementation may raise a dynamic error for a reason beyond the scope of this specification. For example, limitations may exist on the maximum numbers or sizes of various objects. An error must be raised if such a limitation is exceeded. (But without editorial carte blanche to go through the spec adding the same thing elsewhere.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
