I too agree with Michael Kay's comment #3 (advocating widespread changes to the XQTS catalog), but he raised it in response to comment #2 (discussing wording of the XQTS documentation), which is (given the above) irrelevant to the original point of this issue (the expected-errors for a particular test-case).
