http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=10959 Summary: [FO11] fn:parse-xml Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Member-only Editors Drafts Platform: PC URL: http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/qtspecs/specifications/xpa th-functions-11/html/Overview.html#func-parse-xml OS/Version: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Functions and Operators 1.1 AssignedTo: mike@saxonica.com ReportedBy: tim@cbcl.co.uk QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Group: XSLXQuery_WG The spec says: "In particular, it is implementation-defined whether DTD validation is invoked, and it is implementation-defined whether an XML 1.0 or XML 1.1 parser is used." If DTD validation is invoked but validation fails, what error should be raised? It would be nice if the error code wasn't implementation defined. I'd hope it was [err:FODC0006]. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
