http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=7797 Summary: rename Latin-1 t oISO-8859-1 in MIME appendix Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Proposed Edited Recommendation Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XQuery AssignedTo: jonathan.robie@redhat.com ReportedBy: liam@w3.org QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Martin Duerst points out [1] there is no 'charset' "Latin-1" registered at http://www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets. So I strongly suggest to replace it with ISO-8859-1, or leave it out. I've marked this as "normal" not "minor" because it's blocking IESG aproval of our MIME media type registration.
