http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=8221 Summary: deterministic / stable Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Working drafts Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Functions and Operators 1.1 AssignedTo: mike@saxonica.com ReportedBy: jonathan.robie@redhat.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Are deterministic and stable the same or different? Do we really need both concepts? Should F&O define the term 'deterministic', which is widely used in XQuery? See http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xsl-query/2009Oct/0115.html Note: 'deterministic' and 'stable' each occur in our grammar. We should make sure that the concepts we use in our documents and keywords correspond. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
