The tests trivial-1 through trivial-4 were dropped after the publication of XQTS 1.0.2. We've made a large number of changes since XQTS 1.0.2. I suggest that you work from our CVS archive. You can also use http://www.w3.org/XML/Query/test-suite/XQTS_current.zip, which was last updated on May 4.
