http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=6843 Summary: Primitive simple types: removed or not? Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Proposed Recommendation Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Data Model AssignedTo: alb.w3c@gmail.com ReportedBy: fgeorges@gmail.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Hi, In the current PER for XDM, the definition of "primitive simple type" has been changed from: http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-datamodel/#dt-primitive-simple-type There are 23 primitive simple types: the 19 defined in Section 3.2 Primitive datatypesXS2 of [Schema Part 2] and xs:untyped, xs:untypedAtomic, xs:anyAtomicType, xs:dayTimeDuration, and xs:yearMonthDuration], defined in 2.6 Types. to: http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/PER-xpath-datamodel-20090421/#dt-primitive-simple-type There are 21 primitive simple types: the 19 defined in Section 3.2 Primitive datatypesXS2 of [Schema Part 2] and xs:untypedAtomic and xs:anyAtomicType], defined in 2.6 Types. So from the 5 additional types, only 2 are still there. But section 2.6.2 still defines all 5 types <http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/PER-xpath-datamodel-20090421/#types-predefined>. Is that normal?
