i think the expected results for these are slightly wrong, in that whitespace
has been stripped.  The input file SpecialTypes.xml is indented.  The selected
content is:

        <InterleaveType>
                <integer>10</integer>
                <decimal>20</decimal>
        </InterleaveType>

but the expected result contains no whitespace.
